There is Nothing Kate Can’t Do
Through Kate, we can see what meaningful inclusion looks like from an early age. We see this through her friendshipwith Emily, her passion for photography and how ingrained she is as part of Ponaganset High School, a Unified Champion School.
“Born with Down Syndrome, bubbly, courageous, creative—Katie Decotis has made extreme leaps and bounds from creating Kate and Co, selling bark at Ponaganset High School in Rhode Island to playing unified basketball on the court. Meaningful Friendships. Kate has made a positive impact on her best friend, teammates, teacher, and very supportive family. The connection with Katie and her best friend, Emily pulled on my heartstrings and made me thankful for the unconditional support from my best friend, Cheyenne.” —Britney Bautista, US Youth Ambassador
