Evan and Jay Hallberg are brothers. The two attended Ponaganset High School in Rhode Island. Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools® has brought them many opportunities. An example is these brothers building a stronger connection. This connection grew not just at school but at home and in their daily lives.

Ponaganset High School is a Unified Champion School, and Evan and Jay play large roles in the school’s inclusion movement. Unified Sports allows Jay to be protected since the students who play know that, regardless of intellectual disabilities, everyone is equal.
