Tajha Ilerant from Immokalee HS in Florida lost both of her parents at a young age. With such tragedy in her life, Tajha let out her anger and sadness on others and did not know how to channel it. After watching Loretta Claiborne’s speeches, Tajha had a newfound direction; “to be an inspirational speaker, to do everything she has done; but better.” Since then, she has developed her voice and has spoken on behalf of Special Olympics on numerous occasions.
About The Moment Series
All around the country people experience life-changing moments when they finally see/feel/grasp the true power of inclusion.
