Tajha’s Moment
Tajha Ilerant is from Immokalee, Florida. After losing both of her parents at a young age, she let out her anger and sadness on others. This was because she did not know how to channel her frustration. After watching Loretta Claiborne’s speeches, Tajha had a new direction. She wanted “to be an inspirational speaker, to do everything [Loretta] has done; but better.” Since then, Tajha has developed her voice. Today, she speaks on behalf of Special Olympics and the Unified Generation.
