Inclusion Weekly: National Banner Presentation
In the final episode of Inclusion Weekly, we rejoin the members of the Colorado State University Special Olympics College Club to talk about National Banner Presentations. A National Banner School is one that has met the ten standards of excellence set by Special Olympics. The presentations themselves vary from half-time recognition to a whole-school assembly. At the end of the day, each Unified Champion School walks away with a banner that they can hang proudly and continue to make their school communities more inclusive.
In collaboration with Edmodo, Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools has created a series of short videos that display our programming and how it can be implemented in any school setting as explained by our U.S. Youth Ambassadors.
